Answering your call or email. I cannot fix all problems, but when I do it is very rewarding to have these "wins" for our residents. What I take very seriously is that I do not bias my vote at council with my personal objectives. More than once I have voted against my personal views and instead voted in favour of what I knew the majority of Ward 4 constituents wanted. It also helps that I grew up rural, so I understand the challenges of rural life with well water & septic, lousy TV and internet reception, long trips to the grocery store, your child missing the school bus again, and more frequent power outages than what urban life presents. 

Policy decision making for the region as a whole is a vital part of the job, and my deep business experience brings value to the table to help guide Kawartha Lakes in the right direction that benefits all residents and businesses across the region. 

Boards and Committees help ensure CKL stays on track and prospers. I currently sit on the following where my business and finance expertise come to the fore, plus I have 15 years working with family physicians,(continuing medical education), that contributes to the great work of KLHCI who recruit family doctors to CKL.
