To be a municipal Councillor is a serious responsibility that takes a significant part of your day-to-day life.
I am semi-retired and own a very flexible part-time business that allows me to take on the FULL responsibilities of Council.
I have deep experience with forecasting business plans, financial intelligence, developing business partnerships, and negotiating with high-level executives and department heads.
My business experience and skills put me in an excellent position to deliver on the needs and services directly for Ward 4 and the region of Kawartha Lakes.
Growing up rural I know very well the trials of well water, the complications of septic tanks, going without power for days on end, and the daily bussing to school. Television was a few grainy channels in my youth! Working on farms as a teen gave me the physical and mental strength to take on many challenges of life in sport, education, and business.
Rural life today we seek highspeed broadband internet, a family doctor for all, road maintenance, emergency services, a clean environment, and safe communities.
